May 2026: “Sock-hops, Commies, & Lots of Banging”
May 2026 does have a little energetic runoff from March and April tainting it a bit. Which for me is a bit of a shame, since May is usually one of my favorite months, with the rare and minor exception being May of 2025, which was filled with what we call here at my house, “Gates“. Gates in the sense of things like Watergate, i.e. things going awry or a scandal. Last year in May of 2025 at my house I had “Back-Gate“, “Lip-Gate“, and “Fuel gauge-Gate“. As a household we had “Fridge-Gate” and “Dryer-Gate“. And in the world’s stupidest debate category, my wife had “Claudia-Gate” with one of her friends, which (and I know I shouldn’t be surprised) I somehow got sucked into the middle of.
BUT THIS YEAR I’m pleased to say there are no “Gates” on the horizon, at least not at home anyway. For me, and all of you May 2026 “should be” just another Taurus influenced earthy, relaxing, planning, sometimes mellow, merry old month of May.
Hmmm… why did I say “should be”??? Well, perhaps I said “should be” because Uranus in Gemini’s influence will of course be felt, and it’ll be making impulsive, short-sighted people, supersized in their BS. And some lower vibrational people who aren’t normally like this, very much like this… Fact is, we’ll be dealing with this nonsense until Uranus moves into Cancer in May 2033, so we might as well use May 2026 to settle in and get used to it. Think of it as patience training if you like.
Come to think of it I would rather be doing a monthly write-up for May 2033 if I could choose. I could say things like Uranus will be heading into the Cardinal water sign of Cancer, and a time of fun blending with random acts of paranoia will begin. i.e. similar to the 1950s. So we’re talkin’ sock-hops, drive-ins, lots of bangin’, and the red scare, or something like it where a group of weirdo nut-jobs go around accusing everyone of being a commie, and then somehow you have to prove a negative, i.e. that you’re not one.
My point is, it’s always a bit of a crack-up, in that it doesn’t matter what decade it is, there will always be some sort of paranoid conspiracy nonsense putting a damper on the fun. Or as I look at it, “adding some eyerolling humor to the fun“. But that negative conspiracy-type energy has to be there as it acts as a counterbalance to all the fun. The laws of physics always apply, especially when we’re talking about energy of course.
So why would I rather by writing about May 2033, instead of May 2026? Well,,,, I guess it’s just that the energies are more out of balance right now than they will be in 2033. The conspiracy nonsense energy is far heavier than the fun energy. And that’s not as fun… I think… I guess we could say, right now, there are, “too many kooks in the kitchen” spoiling the pot. 😉
So what of May 2026…? Well this should be a pretty short write-up. May of 2026 is bookended by two Full Moons. One in Scorpio as the month opens, and one in Sagittarius as the month closes. The Sagittarius Full Moon on the 31st of May takes us into June and the summer months in the norther hemisphere with a sense of victorious completion. A sense that we can do anything because we’re “The Shit”… This might be true, but this victory is due in no small part to the culmination of an emotional situation, or more likely an emotional thought process that the Scorpio Full Moon at the beginning of the month brings. On that note. If you play your energy cards right, the Scorpio Full Moon that opens the month of May has the potential to leave us feeling very “realistic” around how we feel about an array of things people and situations impacting our lives.
In other news, Jupiter, Pluto (in retrograde), and Neptune will all be interacting with The North Node of Destiny at various times throughout the month. You’ve seen this showing up as a theme in a recent reading I pulled where the final message to you from the bottom of the deck was about your path, and staying true to it. But also it talked about clear signs being present, showing whether you need to adjust your path or stay on your present course. That’s what these energies are doing, as each of these POWERFUL planetary energies interact with the North Node of the moon, you get a glimpse of sorts through a window that you normally can’t see out of. All you have have to do is BELIEVE what you’re being shown. Sounds easy right?!
Well maybe it is easy for you. You’re a high vibrational person. But for “most people“, believing what they see, hear, or are told is easier said than done, especially if it goes against something or someone they support. But you’re not like “most people” are you??? God I hope not…. lol….
Most people in May 2026 in particular, (because the crazy will be picking up steam out there in crazy-town for sure) will bury their head in the sand and hide from things they don’t want to hear or see or believe about themselves or someone else. They’ll even write-off the most horrifying/vile world events or words from their leaders as no big deal, or worse yet claim they never happened, even if there’s video of it. Along with blame-shifting this is all par for the course. But in May of 2026 because of high North Node activities these behaviors may escalate into outright denial. OR, just as easily they COULD go the other way. And a collective waking could happen. It all depends as I often say about your runner soulmates in my readings, if society is full of regular fuckwits, or super-fuckwits… May 2026 might just be the month that definitively reveals the answer to us.
But for those of you who don’t bury your head in the sand as these CLEAR SIGNS and messages come in, (especially ones about yourself) you’ll end the month of May not only going in the right direction, but feeling very, almost dare I say, boldly confident about where you’re going, and or, how you’re getting there. So please take the advice I always offer, and “don’t be like most people.”…… Be special, be you, be unique, be an innovator, be creative…. always….. Be a leader that a follower… May 2026’s energy does offer the opportunity for this, for those of you open to it.
Lastly, the energies of Mars in Taurus and The New Moon in Taurus are closely linked this month. Mars slides into Taurus only about 2 days after the New Moon in the same Taurus energy. This type of energy with Mars and a New Moon has happened before. I don’t remember which monthly write-up it was, but either way the effect is the same. Mars energizes the New Moon energy and it has a short-term strengthening effect on it of sorts. So in the case of the New Moon in Taurus I’ll make a prediction that if energetic history holds true, though it’s an earthy Taurus New Moon, it’ll have a fiery Aries-like feel, vibe, and drive about it. For your mind’s eye you can think of a practical person who has had waaaay too much caffeine…. The only downside to this Mars/New Moon energizing to be aware of, is another law of physics. What goes up, must come down…. So…. my advice for the New Moon in Taurus is to not begin so many new projects, or relationships, or make so many new plans and/or promises, that when the Mars/New Moon energy boost inevitably wears off you end up with your hands full and no idea how to handle it all. If you can “be cool” within the Mars/New Moon energy mix around the middle of the month. If used properly and sparingly, it’ll only prove to enhance your feeling of confidence around the Sagittarius Full Moon at the end of the month. Which should be very helpful in making your June 2026, one to remember by the way.
That’s about it for the month of May 2026. No history lessons, no talk of every 80 or 90 year energetic storms etc. That’s all been covered. You know about it now because I’ve told you about those things. I’ve done readings and articles and monthly write-ups on those topics. Most recently the EPIC February 2026, March 2026, and April 2026 monthly write-ups. But I’ve been talking about this storm and importance of history in understanding the present to improve the future since 2021 when I started the YouTube channel and this Blog.
It’s up to you to do what you want with the information and patterns I’ve alerted you to, and suggestions I’ve made. Truth be told, Uranus in Gemini was the final ball to drop in the 80 to 90 year energetic storm. So my work on that topic at least for my YouTube and Blog following is done. From here, it’s up to you to pay attention to the open sky. The information I’ve given you about the 80 or 90 year energetic storm and the patterns attached to it, should you choose to utilize it, can help you navigate your life better, and even help you process what the news is telling you, or understand better how and why others are behaving in the ways that they are.
May 2026 is a great month to do some deep contemplation, vibration raising meditation, and relax as we head into the warmer months in the northern hemisphere, and the cooler months in the southern hemisphere. For most of us, May 2026 is a month to kick back on the porch with some lemonade (spiked of course), and soak up some nature, some great outdoors. It’s a month ripe for waxing philosophical about whatever you feel like.
Will it be crazy-town around you and out in the world. YUP!!! And it all seems to be getting crazier by the day too. But because you already understand the how and the why of it all, i.e. the energetic storm and energy cycles that are in-play. And you understand the human nature of it all, i.e. how most people interact with those energies, it’s all easy for you to understand… And why is that important? Because if you understand what’s going on from a lofty perspective, it’s just crazy-town happening “around you“…….. NOT “to you“…
That’s all I can say……. except, enjoy your month, enjoy your life… And of course I’ll be pulling on all of May’s energies, but I will also add here in closing… To get the most out of the month, be sure and get it off on the right foot by making the most of that Scorpio Full Moon. Or maying as the song title on this blog’s “Some Guitar” page suggests, “Surfing the Scorpio Moon“. Every year the Scorpio Full Moon is an important one, but this year in particular it really is a VERY important energy. One that will set the tone for the entire month, and likely June as well.
