There’s a tremendous amount of clarity on offer in January. The energy itself is like a clear day. If the month had a theme song it would be The Who’s “I can see for miles”. Which contains the very fitting lines, “I know you’ve deceived me now here’s a surprise, “I can see for miles and miles…etc.”… Who songs aside, January is actually a pretty important month this year. It’s a month where what happens matters, both in the soulmate cycle, in your lives, and quite frankly in the world at-large. You see, January 2026 is the lead-in energy to an EPIC astrological event called a “World Point”, which is happening in February between Neptune and Saturn, when they meet at zero degrees of Aries. It’s an event that energetically sets the stage for nearly the next 4 decades. In the year of The Mustard Rhino (2026) in general, our good deeds matter, but so do our mistakes, as both will and ring out for a long time to come. There is a huge ripple effect in-play. One that I don’t think much of the general public even come close to realizing.

2026 begins with a BIG Cancer Full Moon, that really will impact your life throughout January. I say BIG because the current soulmate cycle that many of you are suffering through (one of the most difficult to exist since the 1940s) is a Cancerian themed/hosted energy. But more on the Full Moon in Cancer later. For now let’s talk about January and some of the other energies around or coming up.

January is actually a pretty important month this year. It’s a month where what happens matters, both in the soulmate cycle, in your lives, and quite frankly in the world at-large. You see, January 2026 is the lead-in energy to an EPIC astrological event called a “World Point”, which is happening in February between Neptune and Saturn, when they meet at zero degrees of Aries. It’s an event that energetically sets the stage for nearly the next 4 decades. In the year of The Mustard Rhino (2026) in general, our good deeds matter, but so do our mistakes, as both will and ring out for a long time to come. There is a huge ripple effect in-play. One that I don’t think much of the general public even come close to realizing.

But the good news is January 2026 is a month I’m dubbing, the “Silver lining” month. But what are these “Silver linings”? And what do they have to do with the month ahead, or the year ahead for that matter?

Specifically, the clarity that January 2026 provides is about seeing things in the people around you, and out in the world for what they really are. As is often the case with such clarity, what you see or realize might depress you a bit. Or at the very least seem like a defeat in some way. But this reality-check is anything but a defeat. It very much leads to victory.

Energetically there’s a false energy around. It’s a Devil energy that came up in a recent extended reading I believe. It’s a negative illusionary energy that creates a pseudo-feeling of hopelessness. As with all Devil-type energies they only work on us if we fall for the illusion. If we buy into the con. Meaning it’s only hopeless if we feel it is. Nothing defeats a Devil-type energy be it a con-artist or a con-job illusionary energy like, effort, questioning, and in the case of out there in the world, “fact-checking”.

On the plus-side, the Full Moon’s energy will reward any effort you make to get real, think real, and feel real. Even if that “effort” is simply you getting real about the need to “get real”.

This Full Moon in Cancer energy bleeds onto the entire soulmate cycle and even out into the world throughout the entire month as I said. The thing is, this BIG Full Moon is bookended at the end of the month by Neptune moving back into Aries for its long stay until about 2039. Which even in its lead-up throughout the month will bring what I would call a “collective awakening” of sorts. An awakening that’s not just spiritual, but also very tactile in the 3D.

In the 3D it’s an awakening where you and others begin to either learn more about, or understand more about things you didn’t understand before. As always knowledge is power, and in 2026 knowledge, real, true, honest, information is what’s available to you.

On the spiritual side, there’s what I would describe as an odd need for a new beginning that seems to be inherent within the core energies of the month itself, but is definitely strongest within the energy of Neptune moving into Aries. This can play out 1000 different ways for 1000 different people. But it is a very “creative” energy. So this may play out as artists finding a new muse, or someone who is normally not a creative person, suddenly becoming super-creative.

Those who want to dive into some self-discovery may find that they can go deeper than usual. Which frankly usually just involves some bravery. You can always go as deep as you want to within “most” surrounding energies. It’s just that most of the time people chicken-out and stop before things begin to get-real. The Aries/fire aspect of Neptune in Aries will provide the necessary bravery to really discover one’s self on a high level. And whatever you discover, be it about yourself, or in the form of information, will come in quite handy during the entirety of The Mustard Rhino year (2026).

But as always you have to believe what you discover. I’ve seen too many people drive their lives right off a metaphorical cliff that they saw coming a mile out in fog purely because they didn’t want to change direction. Because usually that change in direction meant having to admit they got something wrong about themselves or others.

The only bad decision in January, is deciding not to do the right thing, or move in the right direction once crystal clear data comes in. Fear of change will eat you alive throughout the year of 2026. But in January as we begin the year, it’ll leave you behind.

In closing, I think what will get in the way for most people in January and frankly up through March of 2026 is the fact that people generally see what they want to see, and/or hear what they want to hear. So let me offer a piece of advice for dealing with love and relationships in your life, or the outside world as a whole in the clarity of January 2026. We’ve had these types of energies around before, but not with as much depth attached to them. Having said that, with the uniquely deep clarity filled core energies around in January, trust what you see, not what others are telling you you see. We can also change the word “see” to “feel”. And I can also suggest to you to, trust what you feel, not what others are telling you you feel.

January 2026 provides a unique lofty perspective. I’ve said this before about Januarys. Most years January is one of the more forgettable months. It’s like that lead in part at the beginning of a record. It’s not the song, it’s just the crackle before it. But this year, the song of 2026 starts right away. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t warn you, that if we get it wrong in January, there will be a ripple effect that echoes throughout the year. Both in our personal lives, AND out in the world at-large, we have to stop letting things slide, we must demand better, expect better, and know with absolute faith that we deserve better.

Speaking as a neutral observer who often takes a look at both sides of situations and compares them via a lofty perspective. I can tell you with a great deal of experience that we don’t always like what we see from that lofty perch. But the view is clear up there , and the perch is quite high. So if you trust what you see or hear, or feel, you’ll generally move in the right direction most of the time. I say most of the time because we all make mistakes. The trick is to not make too many big ones. An that’s especially true of January 2026.
