The month ahead: “November 2025”

November 2025 is… or I should say “can be” a very empowering month.  Thanks in no small part to the extra-deep waters of its Scorpio season, which bleeds into an equally intense (on the fire side) Sagittarius season. November 2025 IS to put it mildly, an emotional month. November is a month with many opportunities for “do-overs” and “go-backs”. It’s also a month where an attitude of glass-half-full will benefit you far more than even pure neutrality will…, or worse-yet, a glass-half-empty outlook.  With a couple powerful retrogrades, and even some rare energy shifting events, this is probably one of the most powerful Novembers I can recall.

Planetary highlights include: Mars in Sagittarius, Uranus back to Taurus, Mercury retrograde, Jupiter retrograde, Mercury back into Scorpio, and a full super-moon in Taurus… & much much more!!!

November 2025 has much to do with what I covered in my recent Scorpio Season 2025 reading. This is… or I should say “can be” a very empowering month.  This empowerment is thanks in no small part to the extra-deep waters of its Scorpio season, which bleeds into an equally intense (on the fire side) Sagittarius season. Which is super-hot this year thanks Mars starting the Sagittarian fires ablaze early in November, so they’re good and smokin’ hot by the time Sagittarius season begins, and Mercury retrograding back into intense watery Scorpio energies during Sagittarius season, creating some push-pull vibes and ripples within these hot energies. November 2025 is empowering, but to put it mildly, it’s also an emotional month.

Also adding to the energy fireworks show that is November 2025 is a Super-moon, a Mercury retrograde, & a Jupiter retrograde. There’s also in November a rare energetic moment where more than 1 planet at once has slid back a sign. Neptune (back in late October) slid back into Pisces. But also Mercury will be sliding back into Scorpio, & Uranus will be sliding back into Taurus, (both of these in November). With all of these key planetary energies sliding backwards into previous sign energies, there’s a strong indication we’ll get some “go-backs“, aka “do-overs“. These may be verbal do-overs, or they may come through opportunities. There may even be some chances to relive some moments we always wished we could go-back to.  Many of these go-back moments will likely be driving by Neptune and thus come in the form of dreams, or more likely an intense, almost too real to be true nostalgia.

So that’s the gist of November 2025.  But it would a mistake if I didn’t talk at least a bit about the Super-moon and Jupiter retrograde here in this monthly write-up, as both of these energies are key players in the month, and months ahead for that matter.

First, the SUPER-MOON!!! – I don’t know I might call it the problem-solving moon if it were up to me.  The super-moon I’m referring to here is the full (BEAVER) moon in Taurus on November 5th. I think “Beaver moon” might be fitting this year, in that Beavers where I come from can be a problem.  They jam up water ways with their dams.  Well this year’s Super-Beaver-Moon may bring some issues your way, issues for you to deal with.  Maybe a problem phone call from a friend, or an almost Mercury retrograde feeling car or machinery issue of some sort. Whatever it is, typically this type of energy brings in an “emotional” issue.  And just to explain, this “emotional” issue CAN be something like a car problem.  Especially if you need it to get to work etc.  As I state often on my videos, “the same frequency energy can play out a 1000 different ways”.  Meaning an “emotional issue” can be something heartbreaking, or something enraging, or something wonderful, …or…. something that’s just a plain old pain in the ass. Whatever “issue’ the Super-Beaver may bring you this month or over the next few months actually can be easily dealt with, rather ironically because of this moon’s energy.  The super-moon aspect of it provides enough power to bring you the issue, and on the return back-side of the energy have you deal with it.  Instead of thinking of it as a super-moon, try to think of its energy more as a “super-ball” bouncing back and forth. There’s good energy on both the front and back end of it. So no worries… but if I were you, I would use this moon’s energy to take some affirmative action and straighten out any emotional issues you’re having with the people in your life.  It can be a powerful tool for resolution if utilized properly.  But both options are always present, you can also use this moon’s energy to make emotional issues worse, or even create them.

The phrase “No pessimists allowed in my beaver dam” might make a good SLT tee-shirt, but it’s also very true of this moon’s energy. It just doesn’t blend well with pessimism.  It works best if you’re putting out either a neutral or neutral with a slant toward positive energy.  This is because the “super-beaver” energy has an amplifying effect.  And since negative energy feeds itself, any pessimism will feedback on you.  A bit like putting a microphone too close to the speakers…

Finally we’ll end with a few words about Jupiter retrograde.  I say “a few words” jokingly, because really the influence of Jupiter retrograde will be massive this year.

Generally I’m not a big fan of Jupiter retrogrades. Jupiter is the great protector. It protects out planet, & thus by default us as well. Jupiter protects Earth from space debris that would wipe out life on our planet every couple thousand years or so if left un-checked. I know that sounds like a long time between wipe outs but actually that’s not enough time for humans or any advanced life to evolve.  Jupiter’s placement just outside the asteroid belt is rather beneficial for us here on Earth.  Some might even say it’s “lucky”.  And it kind of is lucky because it’s only by chance that Jupiter is where it is, and that chance is Saturn, which pulled it into place and holds it there.  If not for Saturn’s formation, Jupiter would still be close to the Sun, which most theorize is where it began its life. Granted it sure would be pretty in our night sky if it were there, especially since close to the Sun it would be about 33% larger than it is currently out in the deep cold of space, but pretty aside, it wouldn’t be of much use in protecting the Earth from space debris (comets, asteroids etc.) because it would be in front of us, rather than behind us.  So not only are we lucky to have Jupiter where it is, it’s also a fun coincidence that in astrology Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion, among other things.  Right now, it’s in Cancer, which is the host/theme energy for our current “soulmate-cycle’, (I wrote an article on the soulmate-cycle, so please do read it if you like). And here in November 2025, this host/theme energy is about to go retrograde.  In energy speak where Jupiter is concerned, it’s a bit like saying, it’s going out of the room for a bit.

The main reason I don’t like Jupiter retrogrades is because when Jupiter goes retrograde it pretty much creates a bubble of sorts. And within that bubble you’re stuck with whatever you’ve got until Jupiter goes direct and frees the energy up, i.e. the bubble pops.  It’s not that you/we become “unlucky” all of a sudden while Jupiter is retrograde, it’s more that the luck is deferred, or as I like to say, “put on layaway“.  If you’re one of my younger readers/viewers you might be too young to remember what “layaway” is. So I’ll briefly explain that layaway was how people bought things that they couldn’t afford before credit cards became an everyday thing people can use to buy things that they can’t afford.  For layaway, you basically would make a down payment on an item at a department store, toy store, or electronics store of some kind, and the store would hold the item while you made regular payments. Once the item was paid-off, you could take it home.

And that’s a good way to explain how Jupiter retrograde usually works. During a typical Jupiter retrograde you’re not necessarily lucky, or unlucky per-say… really, you’re in neutral…sorta….it’s actually almost like you’re being watched, or like in layaway your payments are being tallied, as they hold your item for you. Or, if it’s easier for you, or you only like analogies about elves, it’s like the way Santa sees us when we sleep, and knows when we’re awake. He knows if we’ve been bad or good. etc… Granted, I suppose the same can be said of most stalk and kill type serial killers, but we’ll keep it jolly and stick with Santa Claus and layaways for our analogical purposes.

My point is, what you do during Jupiter retrograde matters.  Which is why I don’t usually like it.  The fact everything “matters” is always in the back of my mind somewhere.  Jupiter retrogrades have a tendency for many people to make them feel self-conscious in a way. Whether they know about the energy bubble or not makes no difference.  Things we don’t know about are still there if they’re there, and Jupiter’s retrograde bubble is there. In Jupiter retrograde speak, it’s like everything you do is being recorded, written down.  And it sort of is.  Because when Jupiter goes direct, (usually about 4 months’ish later) if your good energy outweighs your bad, you get a surge of positive momentum coming your way.  Which usually plays out as things, i.e. plans etc. finally beginning to move forward.  To the outside observer this often appears to be good luck happening for you.  Even more-so if there’s stark contrast between you and these other people around you.  Meaning for them things may still be stuck.  The reason for that may be the other side of Jupiter retrograde…

What most forget, or maybe don’t even know, or… don’t want to talk about, is the other side of Jupiter retrograde. It’s human nature to not dwell on the negative. But we seem to have evolved over the years to something far worse than that. Nowadays we just plain sweep anything negative under the carpet, or worse yet and even more horrifying, we just don’t believe it, pass it off as fake. Usually because that’s easier than the reality. Having said that, be it Santa deeming you “bad”, or the department store cancelling your layaway for lack of payment, if when Jupiter goes direct your bad energy outweighs your good energy, (in other words in the retrograde bubble you did more things to knock energy out of balance than balance it.) it’s NOT that bad karma comes your way, or that you have what looks like bad luck to the people around you. No, in the case of Jupiter it’s more that nothing at all happens.  It’s literally just another day.  Things stay stuck, i.e. in layaway-speak, you don’t get to take home your item.  Or in Santa-speak, your stocking is fucking empty…  It’s not that Santa burns your house down, or tears-up your stocking, or the department store lets you take your item home, but they smash it in front of you first, screaming at you, and humiliating you in front of all the other customers because you didn’t pay for it in full, or heaven forbid, missed a payment.  …. No…, it’s more of a void energy.  Net/net it’s “a wash” as we sometimes say.

We should be grateful this type of retrograde energy only happens around “Jupiter”…  Jupiter as I said in the beginning, is the great protector. So on the plus-side, the great protector doesn’t penalize us, or harm us in any way if we don’t get things right while its retrograde, i.e. while it’s out of the room.  But on the down-side it doesn’t reward us either.  So my advice, and frankly what’s always wise during a Jupiter retrograde, but especially this one, is to do your best to do what you feel is right in any situation you find yourself in.  Try not to knock too much energy out of balance.  Practice triple alignment.  Meaning, try to make sure your feelings match your words and actions.  And try to also keep them in that order, feelings, words, actions.  You’ve heard the phrase “walk your talk“???  Well actually for proper energy flow it should be “Feel your talk, and then walk it.”

Above all, remember that Jupiter is retrograde in the host energy (Cancer) of the current soulmate-cycle that most of you reading this are a part of. The benefits of Jupiter on your good side when it goes direct are likely more than worth the effort.

As a tip, it’s always a good idea to not make too many big plans during a Jupiter retrograde.  Jupiter is retrograde in Cancer this time around.  That’s the Cardinal Water Sign..  It’s a big deal…
