RockTober 2025 is a month of what I’ll be calling “can-do transformation“.  It’s a month where we get things done.  It’s a month where we come back to life in many ways.  RockTober 2025 is a month were we get to see the crystal clear reality of our situation.  We get to see all of it, and most importantly, we get to access the solutions to transform all of it into something workable.

Planetary highlights include: The 10/10 portal, Pluto direct in Aquarius, & Neptune backing up into Pisces.

October 2025 is truly deserving of the “RockTober” title I’ve given it.  Frankly, not every October is a “RockTober“.  So it’s kind of a big deal when we happen upon one.

RockTober 2025 is a month of what I’ll be calling “can-do transformation“.  It’s a month where we get things done.  It’s a month where we come back to life in many ways.  It’s action-packed, and because of the depth of it it’s also eye-opening at the same time.  We’re becoming less likely to believe everything we hear, or were told about ourselves, our potential, or our relationships as a whole, both with the world at-large and our loves, friends, and families.  Basically RockTober 2025 is when the “Mustard Rhino” energy of 2026 really begins to take hold.  So be sure and read that article as well while you’re here. 

RockTober’s biggest news besides a MASSIVELY transformative 10/10 portal energy (which we’ll get to shortly) is Pluto going direct in Aquarius.  If I had to describe that energy, I would tell you to try to imagine the power has been out for several months, and then, suddenly, BAM!!!, it pops back on!!  If you want to feel what I mean, just imagine how you’d feel if after several months of living in what seemed like the dark ages you suddenly have lights, and TV, and internet again.  lol 

Much of RockTober 2025’s depth and determination comes from its Scorpio energies of course.  We slide into RockTober with Mars already in the passionate energy of Scorpio. Speaking with passion is easy as well with Mercury in Scorpio early in the month, then to add fuel to an already burning fire we move into Scorpio season at month’s end. An Aries full moon doesn’t hurt the month’s passions either, by providing bravery, and a deep craving for something new, something adventurous.

But this year it’s the month’s Libra energy that blends nicely with the general vibe of “can-do transformation” that’s in the air.  That “we can fix this” vibe comes in no small part from the core Libra based energies of the first 2 thirds of the month blending with probably the most transformative 10/10 portal energy that I’ve seen in several decades.  I checked my notebooks and I did note a similar 10/10 portal energy to this years back in 1994.  If that means something to you, cool… if not, no worries… I know some of you weren’t even born then..  Which is scary because I was 102 in 1994.  LOL  

Anyway, jokes aside,,,, I’m never sure where it comes from but there is something to the 10/10 portal energy.  Do I think a portal in space and time opens up and releases a massive power-burst of angel frequency based energies???… Um….NO… not exactly, that’s more the unicorn/rainbow explanation of it.  I tend to like/need a little more science blended with my hocus pocus.  So I’ll say this, every year at this time, give or take around the 10 to the 18th of October there is a surge of energy that comes from somewhere.  Based on the math, my best assumption is it’s what I would call a “comet-type” energy.  Meaning, like comets flying through our solar system, there are energetic storms, or groupings of energies that behave in a similar manor within the core energies that surround us.  They flow through at a timed interval like clockwork each year, decade, or century etc.  Again think of them as comets.  The most famous being Haley’s Comet which passes by us here on old planet Earth on average very 76 years. The last time came by it was 1986, and it’ll be by again in 2061. As a fun-fact thanks to Haley’s Comet’s debris we have the “Orionid” meteor shower every October.  This year’s will be October 21’st through the 25th.  The Soulmate-cycle is also one of these “comet-type” of energies. Individually, soulmate-cycles repeat. Our current cycle was last here during the 1940’s, and a bit into the early 50’s.  And this current soulmate-cycle will be here again, with brand new yet to be born as of this article’s creation Burger Kings I might add, early in the 22nd century.

Alright, back to the 10/10 portal… Numerologically, the 10/10 portal represents spiritual alignment and stepping into your higher purpose.  The number 10 signifies completion and the start of a new cycle.  Making this portal a time of renewal, but not just starting anew, but more of a transformative renewal.  However you want to look at it, be it rainbows, unicorns, or mathematics, this short-cycle burst of energy rolls in ever year around the 10th or so of October and usually brings with it a vibe of transformation, in the form of “release and renewal“.  Meaning an energy of releasing the old, and stepping into the new. 

HOWEVER,,,, this year’s 10/10 is rather unique.  We not necessarily “releasing” anything.  Just figuring out how to deal with what we’ve got.  Or as a more eyerolling cheeky way to put it, whatever mess we find ourselves stuck with.  

This year’s 10/10 portal energy seems to be heading toward more of a focus on transforming the old into something new to take with us into the future.  It’s a bit of an energy often seen around restoring an old car for example.  We take the old junk car, put some new parts on it, shine it up with fresh paint, and drive off into the sunset, having taken something old and transformed it into something new.  In the case of 2025’s 10/10 portal energy as I read it, it’ll likely be more along the lines of waking up to the reality of our dreams or our everyday 3D life and needing to mold, reshape, and transform some aspect of it into something far more usable, or desirable for the future. 

This is in no small part because of what the energy of Neptune backing up into Pisces brings to the table.  Neptune retrograde always brings clarity, and the timing couldn’t be better for it to back up into dreamy Pisces. I say that because things are changing all around us.  Not just in the world at-large, but our personal lives too.

The good news is the 10/10 portal energy provides the perfect energetic environment and backdrop for effortless transformations to happen.  And hey, if you do restore cars, you’ll likely find a lot of hard to find parts with relative ease during the time this energy is present.  As for how long the energy will be present.  Well, this year it should stretch by my read from about RockTober 6th, thru about the 18th or so, with a peak from about the 10th to the 12th of the month.

Obviously in RockTober 2025 there are new moons and full moons and I’ll pull on everything like I always do.

In summary RockTober 2025 is a month were we get to see the crystal clear reality of our situation.  Be it our personal situation, our love situation, or the shit going on in the world situation.  We get to see all of it, clearly, and most importantly, we get to access the solutions to transform all of it into something workable.  However, generally speaking we’re pretty stuck with the present energies for the time-being.  Which means, while the answers are there, and the means are there to make the transformations.  We’ll have to pull up our big boy/big girl pants to make them. 

The above being said, RockTober 2025 is a good month to hit the frequencies. I suggest some of the Solfeggio frequencies. You can find them on YouTube I’m sure. I recommend these three frequencies for RockTober 2025, 417Hz (The Empress frequency, undoes negative situations), 638Hz (enhances social/relationship harmony), and 741Hz (wakes-up your intuition, & opens your mind).

Not unlike that old Talking Heads song, “Once in a lifetime” we might say to ourselves, “How do I work this?”,  And you may tell yourself, “This is not my beautiful house!”.  And you may tell yourself, “This is not my beautiful wife!”

Jokes aside, those lyrics though paraphrased, are meaningful to what RockTober’s energy brings to the table. The lyrics above are about false promises.  And the way in which we delude ourselves.  The beautiful house in the song is really a shotgun shack for example.  We see it a lot in the readings with the 10 of cups around a 4 of wands or around a 10 of pentacles, especially in relation to the DM side of the current soulmate-cycle.  It’s that smoke-screen of BS and keeping up appearances. Pretending our dreams have come true when in fact they only kind of did, or worse yet, didn’t at all.

The great news about RockTober 2025 is that unlike normally where the energies bring us JUST the reality staring us in the face with no real solutions presenting themselves. RockTober 2025 comes with the solutions, with the “can-do transformative energies” to turn something not so good, or downright bad, into something truly beautiful, or at the very least,,, workable.

Do I think we do ALL of this within the constraints of the month of October 2025??  Of course not…. !!!  Energies build and overlap.  Not unlike life they’re a process.  We begin a process in RockTober of 2025.  As the Chinese philosopher Laozi taught us, (often misattributed to Confucius), “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step“…  RockTober 2025 is actually more likely several steps.  Hopefully in the right direction.

In closing, if you’re thinking it all sounds a bit doom and gloom, perhaps you read it wrong.  I don’t know… Both energies are always present.  For many of you, the respective energies of RockTober 2025 will just hammer-home with absolute clarity that you’re on the right path.  In this case, if this is you, then the “can-do transformative energies” will work to your advantage in moving you up to the next level, or the next stage of your life’s journey.  Or even the next stage of your journey through the current soulmate-cycle.

Either way, October is always one of my favorite months.  And this one I’m certain, will be no exception.  In my humble opinion, any opportunity we get for “transformation” should be viewed with excitement and anticipation.  The Eagles once sang, in their song “The Sad Cafe“, “things in this life change very slowly, if they ever change at all.” And they’re right.

So when a month like RockTober 2025 rolls along and offers us basically free, effortless, fast transformative energies, we should jump on the opportunity like a bunch of red-necks diving for the last can of Schlitz at a BBQ.
